Artist Geo Lynx continues to pursue a life long passion for music and all things art. He is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist who has explored a variety of mediums including percussion, digital electronic music, dance, modeling, stained glass, and copper sculpture art. His most recent and viewable endeavor is computer generated visuals and video projection mapping on three dimensional objects and other ocular surfaces. Lynx's work continuously exhibits an inspiration from natural forms and sounds, resulting in an otherworldly depiction of these and more. His broad range of work also aims to communicate his unique understanding of creativity in combination of forms that intend to stimulate one’s imagination. More recently and frequently he’s been working with electronic musicians as the visual component, which is a culmination of Geo’s philosophy and concept reflecting his idea that visuals and sound are one simultaneous, inextricable notion of expression. It’s this very belief as to why Lynx engages in the idea of visualizing sound in an audio-reactive context, as all energy can be perceived from multiple platitudes and perspectives for one cause. Geo believes in the transformative and transgressive power of creating art in a multimedia scenario allowing himself to transcend from the collaborative ideas with others engaging in other disciplines. He hopes that it may inspire those witnessing to express their own with their own voices.
